The hotel is conveniently located right next to the Akihabara station, which offers access to many subway and JR lines (such as the Yamanote line) making it an ideal starting point for exploring Tokyo. The area offers many great food options and even works well as a starting point for exploring Tokyo on foot. Check-in as well as check-out was efficient and easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was located on the top floor, with a nice view of the city. The room itself was conveniently furnished, with a small closet to store the luggage in, a nice desk and a massage chair. Despite being located right next to a train station, our room was fairly quiet (see the notes below), with sufficient isolation between rooms, so we never noticed any other guests.

Tidy and neat room, it is pretty small though with our huge suitcases. Really good location, right next to the station and Lawson below, lots of great places to eat right nearby. Try some of the choux cream puffs from beard papa's in the walkway next to Yodobashi, they are so yummy! Staff were helpful and polite when we had problems with automatic check-in. The view of Akihabara from our window was good. We could hear the trains going by, which we didn't mind (I think the sounds of the city are exciting) but if you are sensitive to noise and go to bed early this might be something to consider. Also there are some amenities to take (toothbrush/razor) on the reception floor but we didn't find that info (written in the elevator noticeboard) until the last day ^^'

The hotel is located just at the exit of the Akihabara railway and subway station. It is in a lively area where you have no difficulties to find restaurants and shops. The lobby (a small one) is at the third floor while the rooms are all from the 4th to the 13th floor. Our room was of average dimension (not large) but comfortable enough for its amenities (not different from those offered by a four star hotel, among them a massage chair), very well lighted with its large windows. Having asked for a top floor room we enjoyed an incredible view on the city (the room overlooked the station but there was no noise with close windows).

Remm Akiba is a very close and easy 2 min walk from Akiba station (central gate exit) with access to other train lines within walking distance. There’s a lawson right downstairs and Yodobashi (L7/8 has many food options) is just across the street. Checking in and out was easy, and the rooms were clean. The room size is smaller but we shifted things around to make the space work for us (2 medium and 2 small luggages) - we opted for twin beds. Bathroom shower also comes with shower curtain inside if you prefer having privacy. Overall, it was extremely stress free and we throughly enjoyed our stay. we’ll be back for sure!

The hotel is literally on top of the Akihabara Station, a great benefit when moving around in Tokyo with trains or subways. The breakfast, although limited in its options, was exceptionally prepared every day, and there are many shops around, including convenience stores. The room was very clean, with a very nice view of the streets below, while there were many amenities to be found at the front desk. The check-in /check-out process was automated, with English descriptions which is very helpful when you are not fluent in (or even if you don't understand even a bit of) Japanese.
